We did a lot of research before purchasing a couch from Belffin. According to so many other reviews- this one was the one to buy. The one thing that was on our mind was not being able to see it and feel it before we bought it. I feel like I have given it a reasonable chance for the last 3 1/2 weeks to get used to it, but I just can’t. First, the fibers on the couch are constantly coming off- even after washing the covers on all of the cushions at least four times. It takes forever to wash them and get them dried because you can’t dry them with any heat and you need to put them back on damp or else they won’t stretch like they need to, to go back on. Secondly, I work from home quite often and I love to sit on my couch with my laptop. I cannot get comfortable. The depth of the seat isn’t as deep as I thought it was going to be. We have the pullout couch feature in the middle so that helps but it just isn’t comfortable. The cushions for the back of the couch are very thin- I have to turn them sideways so that I don’t feel the wood of the couch behind the cushion. The couch- when I sit in it (I am 5’6”) hits my mid back and the wood is quite uncomfortable. I had to place two blankets around the edge of the back of the couch the first day- just to give it a chance. The last thing that I am not happy with is the firmness. I have tried to take a nap on this couch multiple times- fixing the cushions, getting extra pillows off my bed, rearranging the cushions, and I just cannot EVER get comfortable. My hip hurts so bad after laying on it for any amount of time. I hate that we bought this couch and paid so much money for it and we aren’t happy. This was supposed to be our dream couch. We just moved in to our brand new home after living in a camper for 2 1/2 years waiting on this moment. This is the couch that I am stuck with and I am so disappointed.
